Three Years Old...

I forgot that I wanted to write a post all about Ben at three years old, so here goes.

At three years old, Ben:


  • talks in complete sentences (for the most part)


  • still makes the "wa" sound for L's


  • favorite foods are: PB&J sandwiches, popcorn, grapes, goldfish crackers & fries


  • loves trains, buses, trucks


  • wants to do everything by himself "I can do it!"


  • can tell a joke (What do ducks like to eat, Mama? Quackerssssssss!!!!!!!!)


  • asks Why? about a million times per day


  • can sing the alphabet song


  • knows most shapes and all colors


  • can count to about 14 before he starts saying numbers out of order


  • can count to 10 in Spanish (thanks Dora!)


  • can say a few colors in Spanish (thanks Dora!)


  • says his favorite color is green but he also likes blue


  • weighs about 30 pounds


  • is 38 inches tall


  • loves to snuggle


  • wants to watch Dumbo or An American Tale when we're traveling in the car


  • loves Zac Brown Band, Miley Cyrus, and the soundtrack from Sister Act 2


  • wants to listen to Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas CD in the car right now


  • says all he wants for Christmas is his two front teeth (see bullet above)


  • when he's not joking, says he really wants a cash register and marbles for Christmas


  • loves to play outside with his mudpie kitchen


  • likes to collect leaves and acorns


  • likes to build mega block towers with Daddy


  • likes to throw and catch with Daddy


  • loves to sit on Grandpa's lap and play with Grandma's iPad


  • wants dessert after EVERY meal


  • loves going for rides on Papa's mule (not the animal)


  • can pedal forwards and backwards on his tricycle


  • loves to read If You Take a Mouse to the Movies


and that's all I can think of for now!
