Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a very busy, but wonderful Thanksgiving! We kicked off the holiday this year by running the Turkey Trot 5k at Highland's Hammock State Park. It was Ben's first race. Jeremy pushed him in the stroller and we all stayed together. We finished in 28 minutes 35 seconds....not too bad for running with a stroller. There were over 600 runners this year! It was an exciting race. We skipped the awards ceremony and came straight home to get showers. We headed to Avon Park next for Thanksgiving lunch at Aunt Darla and Uncle Kurt's. Ben loves their house because they have Labs, chihuahuas, and chickens! We came home around 1:30 so Ben could get a good nap, then headed to Bartow for Thanksgiving dinner with Grandma & Grandpa Byrd, Papa Stone, and Uncle Chuck. We had a very relaxing time.
We really enjoyed our day! We have so much to be thankful for: family, friends, and good health!

Pictures of Thanksgiving at Aunt Darla & Uncle Kurt's:
I love this picture of my cousin Kacie! Roxy was being a ham and wanted to be in everyone's pictures!
Cousin Bella shared her picnic basket with Ben. They were so cute playing with each other.

Ben loves looking at Uncle Kurt's chickens. Uncle Kurt took one out for him and let him pet it.
Ben had the camera in these next two photos......he loves taking pictures (either that or he is tired of me always taking his picture)
Aunt Lisa came down yesterday, so we went back down to AP last night to visit her and the Olsen family again. Aunt Darla took us to a new restaurant in downtown AP called Eighteen East. My cousin Robbie is a waitress there. The food was so good! I didn't get any pictures last night, but here are some of Ben and me before we left.
