February, where did you go?

I feel like I blinked and February is gone! This year is flying by. We have had a great week, thanks to this gorgeous Florida weather! Ben and I get to spend a lot of quality time together during baseball season. We've been going for afternoon walks, swinging & sliding, and playing in the water. I love this time of year when everything turns green again. It puts a little hop in my step :-)

We are looking forward to the month of March. Plenty of baseball games to see and Spring Break around the corner. Here are this week's pictures of Mister Ben:

A nudist in the making :-)

Fun times at the "train store" aka Books-A-Million! Every night, I have a little discussion with Ben about what the next day will be. When I told him Friday night that the following day was Saturday, he said he wanted to go to Sebring to go to the train store and Olive Garden. How can you say no to that?

I believe he was saying, "chica-chica-chica-chica-woot-woot!"

A visit to Petsmart :-) Aren't these hamsters adorable?!?

He loves to look at the starfish

I just couldn't resist posting this picture of Ben's sweet little cheekies, ha ha! He is already getting a tan line.

Valentine's Day sickies :/

We had a very interesting Valentine's Day weekend this year. Ben and I made our V-Day crafts Friday night and Saturday, thank goodness, because I started feeling very poorly Saturday night and Sunday. I thought it was a case of allergies, but I started having chills and body aches. Ben started having the same symptoms, so we went to see Dr. LaRue Tuesday. Ben had a double-ear infection, so we both started antibiotics and prescription-strength cold meds that night. We are feeling much better this weekend.

Jeremy and I went on a date last night and saw Just Go With It. It was sooo funny! We had not been to the movies in so long, so it was a very nice night. We ended up skipping dinner and just ate popcorn and ice cream (Cold Stone Creamery is right next to the theater we went to). We wanted to be home in time to put Ben to bed.

Here are the pictures from the past two weeks. The first four pictures are shots Grandpa took with his Nikon. Ben was running a fever Friday morning, so Grandpa stayed home with him. The first picture is from the play park yesterday. Grandma and Grandpa kept Ben so Jeremy and I could have a date night :-)

Trying to get a picture of Ben with the valentines we made

Our Valentine's Day crafts. We had so much fun making these! (Above: thumbprint heart cards for Aunt Joycie and Cousin Cassie & Below: Bee Mine valentines for Ben's friends at Joycie's)
One of Ben's new favorite things is to play "club house" in his crib. He'll climb in and want me to hang a blanket over the top.

February Fun!

February is off to a fun start! Ben and I visited Bok Tower Monday afternoon since the weather was so gorgeous. He fed the swans and a friendly squirrel. I got some cute pictures of him playing around the tower. It's one of my favorite spots because Ben can run around and try to climb trees.

Last night we met the family in Bartow at Palace Pizza to celebrate Jeremy's 28th birthday. We love their pizza, although I'm sure it has nothing on the pizza in Naples, Italy (I want to go there SO badly!)

Here are the pictures from this week:

I love this picture of him running down the hill by the tower :)
