Legoland!

We had a super fun day with Aunt Lisa and Uncle Rick at Legoland today! Ben was too afraid to ride most of the rides, but he loved driving the little lego cars and the water park. It was a really hot day, so it was nice to cool off at the water park after lunch. Ben really loved the lazy river and wave pool. Jeremy, Aunt Lisa and Uncle Rick braved the big water slides.
Here are some pictures from our fun trip! Thanks for a great day, Aunt Lisa and Uncle Rick! We love you!

I love Uncle Rick's face in this picture! I think this is us on the big drop down.

Last Week Randoms

It has been a week since my last post, and we have had a busy 7 days. I had a girls night out Thursday night. Natalie, Elya and I enjoyed a delicious dinner and Carraba's and lots of girl talk. (I have been cooped up with two boys all summer, you know) Jeremy installed wood flooring in his parents' bedroom. It looks fantastic! We took another trip to the mall in Brandon. We visited Papa Stone on our way home and had dinner at Palace Pizza. Jeremy and I got new cell phones....go Team iPhone! There sure is a lot to learn. I am loving the camera phone and Instagram. I've downloaded a few games for Ben that he is really enjoying. We went bowling with Laci, Marlee and Easton on Tuesday. I got a pedicure. Jeremy borrowed Papa Stone's pressure washer this morning, so we treated ourselves to Fred's breakfast buffet this morning ($5 per person Mon-Thurs. Can't beat it!).

I cannot believe today is August 1st! Summer is flying by. We've had such a great time. We have a little over one week left and have a few more fun things planned for Ben. I cried when his preschool packet came in the mail last week. This day is approaching quickly and I'm just not ready. Can you guys believe he will be FOUR in two months?!

The day I realized Ben's art skills will very quickly surpass mine. My hungry caterpillar didn't turn into such a beautiful butterfly after all.

Fewox Park with Aunt Joycie & Friends

Aunt Joycie called me this morning and asked if Ben would like to come to the park to play with his friends. He has been home with us all summer, so we are so thankful that Joycie calls us when she takes the kids to the park so Ben can play with his friends. We just got his bicycle tire fixed, so I suggested taking it to the park to share with his friends. They were so cute playing with each other and taking turns on the bike. I brought my camera of course, and got some cute pictures of the kids playing.

Cody's

Tonight, we had dinner at Cody's Roadhouse in Sebring. It's the new restaurant down there, but Jeremy and I used to eat at Cody's all the time when we lived in Palm Harbor. It was really neat to eat there again. Ben loved eating the roasted peanuts on the table. Wednesdays are buy 1 get 1 free Fajitas! We are so happy to have a new/old place to eat so close to home.

Movie Date

We met Grandma and Grandpa Byrd in Lakeland this afternoon for a movie date. Ben was so excited when we told him we were going to see Ice Age 4. We snuck in some candy and drinks, but just had to get some of that yummy movie theater popcorn. Ben did really well watching the movie. Jeremy and I love the movies, so we are so glad Ben seems to enjoy it as well.

Children's Museum with Bennett

We met up with our friends Natalie and Bennett at the Children's Museum in Sebring this morning. This was Bennett's first trip and we think he enjoyed it. It took him a little while to realize he could touch and play with everything there! We have really enjoyed this place since Ben's first trip last summer. After playing at the museum for a couple of hours, we had lunch at Don Jose's on Lake Jackson. Here are some pictures from our fun trip:
