Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

I have been wanting to go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for several years now. I finally convinced Jeremy to splurge on the tickets and I'm so glad we did! The Magic Kingdom is fun on a normal day, but it is spectacular at night and all fixed up for a Christmas party!

Since we have annual passes, we didn't worry about riding a ton of rides. We did the fun photo op in front of Cinderella's Castle, visited Santa, watched the parade and the fireworks show. We enjoyed snow on Main Street and free hot chocolote & snickerdoodle cookies! And I can't forget to mention Ben bustin' a move to "Footloose" at the Character Dance Party! Ben's reaction to the event was priceless...after the fireworks show he looked at me and said, "Thank you for bringing me to Disney on this magical night." MELT MY HEART! He can be a little stinker at times, but totally makes up for it with moments like that.

Here are some pictures from our adventure........

Animal Kingdom

We have really enjoyed our annual passes to Disney this year. When we woke up yesterday, I asked Ben what he wanted to do. He said, "I want to go to Animal Kingdom!" We called Grandma & Grandpa Byrd and they said they wanted to go, too, so they could get pictures of wild animals for the photography class they are taking.

We had so much fun and saw a lot of neat animals! Ben learned about the babirusa, reeves' muntjac, okapi, komodo dragons, and fruit bats. He really loves watching the animals and we see something different each time we go.

Thanksgiving

Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough. -Oprah

I am so very thankful today for my family, friends, and good health.

Ben's Thanksgiving program at preschool was beyond precious. Ben played the role of Grandpa in the play and his line was, "Save a turkey. Eat more chicken!" He also got to tell a joke: "April showers bring May flowers. What do the May flowers bring? The Pilgrims!" He did such a great job! We loved the table decorations and enjoyed a yummy meal of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls and pumpkin pie. We are so thankful for Mrs. Watts, Mrs. Adkison, and our preschool family.

We spent Thanksgiving day in Avon Park at Aunt Darla's house. Lots of yummy food, golf cart rides, and kickball. I love my family so much!

Frozen

Ben and I joined Nancy, Landon & Bella Piller this afternoon to see Frozen at Eagle Ridge Mall. We all loved the movie and can't wait for our next adventure!
