Katie & Ryne's Engagement Party

Tonight we celebrated the engagement of my cousin Katie and her fiance, Ryne. They are just the cutest little couple! Katie is a 4th grade teacher in Tampa and Ryne is a police officer. We are so excited for them and cannot wait for the wedding in March!

Class of 2013 Graduation

Tonight we celebrated the Class of 2013! There are so many special students to me in this graduating class. I am so proud of them. I love that we get to wear robes and sit with them during the ceremony! It's such a special night.

Date Night!

You never appreciate having time alone with your spouse until you have children! Jeremy and I went out to dinner and a movie this evening. We had dinner at Burger 21 (our new favorite place), then saw the movie 42 about Jackie Robinson. It was really good!

This black cherry float from Burger 21 was amazing!

Ben & Wren

We've been getting to spend a lot of time with this sweet girl lately and we love it! Wren's daddy is the youth pastor at First Presbyterian Church here in Frostproof, so she comes to play with Ben every Wednesday. We love going to Frostbite for dessert and having movie nights! Ben shows her all of his trains and she teaches him all about her ponies. They are so sweet playing together!

PCSO Annual Awards Ceremony

The Polk County Sheriff's Office honored my Mother in Law this evening with the Meritorious Service Medal and an Honorable Mention for Civilian Employee of the Year. We are so proud of her! She is such a wonderful example of a woman who is dedicated to her family and her career. I am so grateful for her influence.

Miles for Moffitt 2013

We've started a little family tradition of running the Miles for Moffitt race in Tampa each year. This year, Ben got to run his first race! Ben's race was called the Run with Raymond Kids Dash and he ran with the 3 to 4 age group. My race began at 7:45, but his didn't start until 9:30, so we had quite a bit of time to kill. They had a group of tents set up for the kids where they could make crafts and get their faces painted. Ben wanted no part of that...he was just ready to race. He did play frisbee for a little while. We got to meet the Ray's mascot, Raymond, but he didn't want his picture taken with him. I don't blame him; he is a bit scary looking! Ben finally got to race and did such a great job! We are so proud of him. He got his very first race medal and a t-shirt. We headed back to our hotel after the race and cooled off in the pool. We really enjoyed spending the weekend with our family and racing for such an important cause!

Kacie, Katie and I did so well in our age groups! We were all in the top 25 with over 100 girls in each of our age groups.
