We've started a little family tradition of running the
Miles for Moffitt race in Tampa each year. This year, Ben got to run his first race! Ben's race was called the
Run with Raymond Kids Dash and he ran with the 3 to 4 age group. My race began at 7:45, but his didn't start until 9:30, so we had quite a bit of time to kill. They had a group of tents set up for the kids where they could make crafts and get their faces painted. Ben wanted no part of that...he was just ready to race. He did play frisbee for a little while. We got to meet the Ray's mascot, Raymond, but he didn't want his picture taken with him. I don't blame him; he is a bit scary looking! Ben finally got to race and did such a great job! We are so proud of him. He got his very first race medal and a t-shirt. We headed back to our hotel after the race and cooled off in the pool. We really enjoyed spending the weekend with our family and racing for such an important cause!
