ICE! at Gaylord Palms

Having worked in retail, I wanted no part in Black Friday shopping! Instead, Grandma & Grandpa Byrd took us to ICE! at Gaylord Palms. Jeremy and I have been before, but this was everyone else's first time. It's so fun to pack on layers of clothing and the big blue parkas for 9 degree weather in Florida! Ben had so much fun checking out the ice sculptures and riding down the ice slide. He was brave and rode the big one! After ICE, we explored the hotel and let Ben run around outside. We headed to Downtown Disney next to let Ben ride the train and carousel. We stopped at Chili's on the way home for dinner. Everyone had a really fun day. Thanks, Grandma & Grandpa!

Thanksgiving

We had an awesome Thanksgiving at Aunt Darla's today. Lunch was wonderful as usual and Ben loved playing outside with his cousins. He raced remote-controlled trucks, played tag, checked on Aunt Darla's chickens, played with all the dogs, and rode the golf cart. Jeremy and I had fun shooting some different guns with Uncle Kurt, Uncle Rick, Aunt Lisa, Kacie and Katie. This was my first time shooting and I loved it! I don't think I would ever enjoy hunting, but target practice sure is fun.

Legoland!

We took Grandma & Grandpa to Legoland for their first visit on Monday. Grandma was so brave and rode a roller coaster with Jeremy. It was so fun to watch! Ben was a little braver this time around and did more rides. We all love watching him have fun.

Lakeside Village Tree Lighting

We kicked off our Thanksgiving break with Lakeside Village's tree lighting tonight. We had a quick dinner at Fred's in Bartow before heading to Lakeland to see the big tree. Ben loved watching Santa ride in on a firetruck and lighting the tree with his magic. We just love the holidays, especially all of this time we get to spend together.
